Event: Discussion & Action for Chosen Families

Last night was an big step forward for our movement. 75 people from across the Bay Area, including sitting city council members from Oakland & Berkeley, came together to work on legislation granting non-discrimination protections for all family and relationship structures.

It was inspiring to see so many diverse communities come together in coalition to fight for our rights. The gathering included folks from the polyamorous & non-monogamous, asexual & aromantic, and single-parent-by-choice communities. The event was co-sponsored by OPEN, AVEN- Asexual Visibility and Education Network, and PolyActive.

It was a powerful reminder that no one is alone in this fight for love and acceptance. Seeing different groups uniting in solidarity gives hope for a more open and loving world. Together, we are building a stronger, more inclusive movement. We won't stop until everyone is free to love without limit and build the family that works for them. Are you with us?
